Class 24 - Show pony young stock 1 year old colt, gelding or filly not exceeding 140cms likely to make a child’s riding pony
Class 25 - Show pony young stock 2 & 3 years not exceeding 145cms gelding, or filly likely to make a child’s riding pony
Class 26 - Show hunter pony young stock 1 year old colt, gelding or filly not exceeding 140cms likely to make a child’s riding pony. (This class may be combined with class 26 if there are not more than 4 entries)
Class 27 - Show hunter pony young stock 2 & 3 years not exceeding 145cms gelding, or filly likely to make a child’s riding pony. (This class may be combined with class 25 if there are not more than 4 entries)
Class 28 - Pony brood mare not exceeding 148cms, 3 year old and over, in foal to or with foal at foot by a pony stallion not exceeding 153cms.
Class 29 - Foals progeny of mares in class 27, sire of foal to be named (foal to be led)
Class 30 - Welsh ponies registered pure bred any age colt / gelding mare/filly.
Open to section A,B,C,D. Reg. No. must be given on entry form.
Class 31 - Welsh ponies registered part bred any age colt / gelding mare/filly.
Open to section A,B,C,D. Reg. No. must be given on entry form.
Class 32 - Pure bred Connemara pony, mare or gelding to be led.
Reg, No. must be given on entry form
Class 33 - Pure bred Connemara foal, progeny of registered Connemara stallion and mare.
Class 34 - Part-bred Connemara pony, mare or gelding to be led
Class 35 - Pure bred Connemara pony, 1year old colt, gelding or filly, progeny of registered Connemara Stallion. Reg, No. must be given on entry form. (This class may be combined with class 34 if there are not more 4 entries)
Class 36 - Pure bred Connemara pony, 2 year old colt, gelding, progeny of Registered Connemara Stallion. Reg, No. must be given on entry form. . (This class may be combined with class 35 if there are not more 4 entries
Class 37 - Pure bred Connemara Two & Three year  old Filly & Mare. Progeny of registered Connemara Stallion. And Registered Connemara Dam..         Qualifier for €1,000 Connemara Two & Three Year Old Filly & Mare of the future.
All Ireland Championship at BAlINASLOE Show on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Class 38 - Ponies, mares or geldings 4years old and over not exceeding 148 cms
Class 39 - Miniature pony any age to be led, mares or gelding
Class 40 - Shetland Pony any age to be led, mare or gelding
Class 41 - Ponies 3 years old and over not exceeding 148 cms. Confined to Bantry Postal Area
Class 42 - Irish Cob, traditional heavily feathered type
Class 43 - Kerry Bog Pony any age. Brown Passport Only.

Ridden Pony Section

Class 44 - Open Lead rein class for pony mares or geldings 4 years and over, not exceeding 123cms suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 8th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year. Children will not be required to canter. Snaffle Bridle must be worn.
Class 45 - Novice lead rein class for children 10 years and under. This class is confined to ponies and riders who have never won first prize at any show
Class 46 - First Ridden class for ponies mares or geldings 4 year old & over not exceeding 123 cm suitable for & to be ridden by rider who have not attained their 10th birthday by 1st Jan 2017
Class 47 - Local ridden class for mares or geldings 4 years old and over not exceeding 148 cms suitable for riding school ponies only to be ridden by a child under 15 years
Class 48 -

Show Pony 128cms Riding class for ponies mares or geldings 4 years and over, not exceeding 128cms suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 13th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year.

Class 49 - Show Pony 138cms Riding class for ponies mares or geldings 4 years and over, not exceeding 138cms suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 15th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year
Class 50 - Show Pony 148cms Riding class for ponies mares or geldings 4 years and over, not exceeding 148cms suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 17th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year.
Class 51 - Irish Cob, traditional heavily feathered type, to be ridden
Class 52 - Ridden Registered Connemara mare, or gelding five year old and upwards

 Young Handlers Class 1. FOR PONY MARES OR GELDINGS ANY BREED 4 YEARS OLD & OVER, TO BE LED BY PERSONS 7 YEARS TO UNDER 13 YEARS ON 1/01/17.

Handlers must wear the correct dress, including the recommended helmet.  CLASS 2.  AS IN CLASS 1 BUT TO BE LED BY PERSONS 13 TO 17 YEARS ON 1/1/17.

These young handlers classes are to be judged on the ability of the Handler to present and show the pony to best advantage

Champion Ridden and Reserve Ridden Pony confined to 1st and 2nd prize winners (classes 47 to 52)

Ridden Hunter Section

Class 53 - Open and novice 153cms hunter pony class for ponies, mares or geldings 4 years old and over exceeding 143cms but not exceeding 153cms, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 20th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year.
Class 54 - Open and novice 143cms hunter pony class for ponies, mares or geldings 4 years old and over exceeding 133cms but not exceeding 143cms, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 17th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year.
Class 55 - Open and novice 133cms hunter pony class for ponies, mares or geldings 4 years old and over not exceeding 133cms, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 14th birthday on the 1st of January of the current year.

Champion & Reserve Champion Ridden Hunter Pony confined to 1st & 2nd Prize winners classes 53-55.
Supreme Champion Pony to be judged from the Champion in-hand, Ridden & Ridden Hunter
